PROJECT BRIEF + PREVIEW
PARTY IN A BOX
Role: UX Designer
Goal: New product design for curated party decor boxes while researching how to market on existing company website
Problem: Company is unsure of how boxes should be created and how they will be viewed on the website
Industry: Retail/new product
Kita + Velvet is an event styling company that is getting overwhelmed with styling requests. They found it makes more sense to focus on the large backdrops and installations for their services rather than the small objects such as vases, candles, and balloons.
They are exploring the idea of still providing the service of full styling with accessories and décor, but having all items sent to the client to set up on their own and to keep. Which is how “party in a box” came to fruition.
Kita + Velvet is excited about the potential of the service but is not sure about specifics such as price point, how the boxes would be created or what décor clients would specifically need. Most importantly, how would the service show up on their current existing website.
-
How should the boxes be created? Through already built themes or create your own concept?
-
How does this show up on a website? What would it look like?
